Student Awards & Honors

February
Harrisonville Elementary School students were honored at an assembly on Tuesday, March 4.  The school hosts monthly assemblies to recognize student accomplishments. 

Third grader Bella Tracy received the Service Above Self Award from the Harrisonville Rotary Club.  Each month, the Rotary Club will recognize one student at HES for their work in helping others.

Students who exhibit the character trait of the month are named Wildcats of the Month.  The character trait for February was Kindness and those honored as Wildcats of the Month were first graders Leo Buchman and Hailey Bagby, second graders Rachel Bronson and Eli Norman , and third graders Mikayla Myler and Alexia Gould.   The honored students received a certificate and a t-shirt from the PTO.  

 


January
Harrisonville Elementary School students were honored at an assembly on Wednesday, February 12.  The school hosts monthly assemblies to recognize student accomplishments. 

Third grader Michael Brotherton received the Service Above Self Award from the Harrisonville Rotary Club.  Each month, the Rotary Club will recognize one student at HES for their work in helping others.

Students who exhibit the character trait of the month are named Wildcats of the Month.  The character trait for January was Honesty and those honored as Wildcats of the Month were first graders Ashlyn Wheeldon and Roberto Chavez, second graders Callie Shoemaker and Robby Lukenbill, and third graders Kaden Bledsoe and ZZ Butner.   The honored students received a certificate and a t-shirt from the PTO.  

Three hundred and thirty-three students were recognized for meeting their reading goal for December.

Students who exhibit the character trait of the month are named Wildcats of the Month.  The character trait for December was the review of Respect, Responsibility, and Self Control and those honored as Wildcats of the Month were first graders Isabell Roepke and Wyatt Burger, second graders Grant Boyer and Madison Troup, and third graders Lauren Durnell and Reece Lawler.   The honored students received a certificate and a t-shirt from the PTO.
